It was a surfing trip to Noosa punctuated with a whole lot of ice-cream eating that inspired Lalele Organics. Nathan returned back to Auckland with a real dream for himself and his wife, Mulan to make their own organic ice-cream. And so Lalele was born, in an old (but beautiful) vintage caravan.
With a lot of trial and error, the pair built the commercial kitchen by hand and began realising their dream of making the best tasting, organic icy treats in the country. Lalele Organic work with producers and organic growers in the Bay of Plenty, and use Trade Aid coconut milk and chocolate. This fresh produce leads to flavours you never knew you’d love, such as strawberry, coconut & lavendar Cocolatos and avocado, coconut & French tarragon popalatos.
You’ll find this rolling organic haven frequenting markets across the country, they also do an impressive job at catering events.
